Mark Mitchell will lead a panel with four veterans will share their personal & professional experience on finding & creating action, hope, & transformation in the Los Angeles area of the United States.

Mark Mitchell is a coach, trainer, & psychotherapist for over 35 years. He is co-chair of the behavioral health team of the Los Angeles Veterans Collaborative. He is also adjunct faculty at Loyola Marymount University in Addiction Studies & teaches family therapy at California State University at Dominguez Hills. His areas of interest with veterans are transition, identity, moral repair & resilency, post-traumatic growth, & ritual.

Tess Barragan Banko MSW, MPH is a Marine Corp veteran, widow of a combat Marine, & the Executive Director of UCLA/VA Veteran Family Wellness Center in Los Angeles.

Nathan Graeser MDiv, LCSW, a Chaplain with the California Army National Guard, Director of Veteran Initiatives & a Family Peer Navigator Trainer for the UCLA Nathanson Family Resilience Center.

Val Reyes LCSW ex-combat Army Officer & the 1st social worker to enter the Afghanistan conflict. He also co-founded the Military Social Work program at the University of Southern California & works as a social worker with the Veteran Administration.

Jim Zenner LCSW a combat veteran & the Program Manager for the Veteran Peer Access Network for the Los Angeles County Dept. of Mental Health.
